Benefits Manager

The Harris Center for Mental Health & IDD is looking for a Benefits Manager to join our team!
 

About the Position

The Benefits Manager is responsible for the oversight and administration of The Harris Center's benefit program, retirement plans, carrier files, employee benefits education, and employee advocacy. You will recommend changes to relevant programs or plans to both management and executive leadership in order to ensure The Harris Center is meeting the needs and wants of the market as well as remaining compliant with applicable laws and regulations. You will need to closely monitor employee requirements as well as trends and developments in benefits offered by other organizations in order to effectively present options and special reports and to support management's decisions in a cost-effective manner. The Benefits Manager also works closely with payroll to ensure accuracy and will serve as an expert resource to other sectors of Human Resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or similar field
  • Master's Degree preferred
• CEBS designation preferred
• 4 years of progressive experience with Human Resources Benefits
• Experience with fully funded plans for medical, dental, vision, and life/disability/AD&D products
• Experience with retirement plans (401a, 403b, and 457)
• Experience with outsourced COBRA and FMLA Administration
